"But, Sailor Moon," says Lethe. "Is there a peaceful and happy future with you? A future where there is no war? Sailor Moon, the power you carry calls for war! As long as you exist, the wars will not end. From where we stand, the enemy is you! Whoever wins, the future will surely be the same. I will end this war now. I just want to have peace and happiness, together with Mnemosyne. That's all."

"If that will truly end the war," Usagi says, "kill me."

"I am Seiya Kou," he says (addressing Haruka). "I like your style. It's like the wind. We carry the same things. I'd like to shake your hand."

Seiya and Taiki try to force Usagi to remember Mamoru's death. When she starts crying, Seiya holds her and kisses her. Later...

"Why do you care about that girl?" Yaten asks Seiya. "Because she reminds me of her."

Seiya and Usagi are alone in Seiya's apartment. Seiya holds Usagi as she cries.

"I'm all right," Usagi says. "I won't cry anymore. The battle with Galaxia is approaching."

Seiya thinks: "Even now, you are burdened with such heavy wings". Out loud he says: "Princess Kakyuu, too. Her beloved was lost to Galaxia. Sailor Moon, whatever battles await you in the galaxy, we have power at your side." Seiya kisses Usagi's hand. "We will protect you."

"I wish that our flesh could last forever, too," Usagi says.

"I hope that we are reborn again," Seiya replies, thinking: "We are of different stations in the universe. It must be unrequited love, Seiya."

Usagi and the girls are at the Three Light's concert.

Minako looks over. "Usagi?"

"Yes," he says. "I do."

"Did you escape here from all your fans again? It must be tough, being mobbed even at school. I wouldn't think idols would have time to go to school. They'd be so busy."

"Anything, as long as we can sing..." he says.

"I feel... like I've met you somewhere before..." says Usagi.

"O- Oops," she thinks. "I shouldn't have said that, not to such a famous person."

"I- I..." she says. "I really like your Three Lights debut single. It's so moving... The song is pretty, and I still feel it in my heart."

"Your saying that," says Seiya, "makes me very happy. We wanted to sing this song, so we became singers."

"Remember!" Seiya says. "We don't have time! You have to hold on, or you'll lose this battle! Remember what happened to Jupiter and Mercury! What happened to your Mamoru!"

"Mamo-chan..."

The card shows Mamoru's body glowing.

Seiya pulls her close and kisses her.

Mamoru's body disappears, leaving a ball of light.

"I'm all right," Usagi says. "I won't cry anymore. The battle with Galaxia is approaching."

"Thank you," says Usagi. "If for some reason, I wasn't a sailor soldier... I wouldn't have friends helping me. I might not even have met them."

"All that is a sailor soldier is inside the sailor crystals," said Yaten. "The crystals of unknown power, the sailor crystals, won't disappear!"

"If for some reason the Silver Moon Crystal didn't exist, would I not have even been born...?"

She looks at Seiya.

He gets up and walks to the door.

"That's okay," says Usagi, holding Chibi-Chibi. "We can manage. ...Thank you."

Seiya watches the two leave.

"We are of different stations in the universe," he thinks to himself. "It might be unrequited love, Seiya."

"Your hand," says Seiya.

"That's all right!" says Usagi. "I don't want to be a burden, I'll manage."

"It's okay," says Seiya. "You're a princess. You should be protected."
